Student answer (Band 5.5)
Some people believe that History play a significant role in school subjects, while people say in this modern era should importance subjects like science and technology, which help them people to develop and improve their lives.
First of all, people who think history is important for school subjects because in history people do many mistakes in different fields, if students don't review these mistakes than they do same mistakes. For instance, one important thing is students read history because they read their ancestors lives what would do in the past, moreover they motivated to read the stories, battles an agreements were settled between their ancestors and his enemies. So, they get a motivation and improve their skills because they don't do mistake which happened with their ancestors hand.
On the other hand, some people say in modern world subjects like science and technology are more important rather than history because the help of modern science and technology people achieve many goals and discover many new things which prove that they are very beneficiary for humans. For example, the help of technology and modern science machines do operate without human interaction and they can do without even minor error. Moreover, the journey in past people complete in months now people complete just with some hours, these all things possible to help with technology and scientists reached the moon because the help of modern technology.
To sum up, both sides people has solid reasons for their statements, but in my perspective technology and science subjects is more important rather than history.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the importance of history for avoiding past mistakes and the benefits of science for efficiency, the arguments lack depth and specific, well-explained examples. For instance, the mention of 'battles an agreements' is vague and does not clearly illustrate how history education specifically benefits a student's modern skill set. To improve, ensure that each point is fully extended with a logical explanation that directly connects to the prompt's core theme of educational priority.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'First of all', 'On the other hand', and 'To sum up'. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the phrase 'these all things possible to help with technology'. The logical progression is present but could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that pronouns clearly refer back to their intended nouns would help achieve a higher score in this criterion.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it is somewhat repetitive and lacks precision. You use basic terms like 'important' and 'things' frequently. There are also some word-choice errors, such as 'beneficiary' (should be 'beneficial') and 'ancestors lives' (should be 'ancestors' lives'). To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items and more precise collocations, while ensuring that your word forms are accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('History play', 'people has'), missing articles, and awkward phrasing ('if students don't review these mistakes than they do same mistakes'). While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and sentence construction will significantly improve your writing accuracy.
