Well this is a controversial topic, some said, the history is important in school subjects and the other one says the modern technology and science subjects are more valuable.
First of all we talk about that people who said the history is an important subject in schools. According to them children have knowledge about the past that what happen why it happen and also about the sacrifice's of our elders, our great leaders. Children can read and get knowledge about the history, tradition's and also our great worriers. In addition history gives awareness about the past. History can save the disasters happen in the world, the improvement of sciences and technology and different time stages. So, that's why they said its important.
Secondly we talk about who say's modern science and technology subjects have more benefits then history. So from their point of view children's can have the knowledge about the improvement's in technology and modern sciences. They say's that knowledge of science and technology is very necessary for whole under age students. They know about the benefits, advantages and disadvantages about the modern world. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, meeting the basic requirements of the prompt. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments for both history and science are somewhat repetitive and lack specific, concrete examples to support the claims. For instance, the mention of 'disasters' or 'great leaders' is vague. The conclusion is brief and does not fully explain why the author prefers history over science, which weakens the overall task response. To improve, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and specific real-world examples to substantiate your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'the other one says' or 'After discussing the both point of that'. The transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear. While there is an overall progression, the flow is hindered by awkward phrasing and a lack of sophisticated linking words. Improving the variety and accuracy of your transition signals will help create a more cohesive argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms like 'important', 'good', and 'knowledge'. There are also several errors in word formation and usage, such as 'sacrifice's', 'tradition's', and 'worriers' (likely meant 'warriors'). These errors occasionally distract the reader. To reach a higher band, you should work on using a wider range of vocabulary, including less common collocations and more precise academic terminology, while ensuring that your spelling and word forms are accurate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including subject-verb agreement issues ('some said', 'they say's', 'children's can have') and incorrect article usage. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors in basic grammar and punctuation limit the complexity of your writing. To improve, focus on mastering subject-verb agreement, correct pluralization, and attempting more complex sentence structures like relative clauses or conditional sentences, while ensuring they are punctuated correctly.
