IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that in today’s world subjects like Science and technology are more important than History.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant example form your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.0)

I had like to talk about both views in accordance with importance of history subjects verses science and technology.

well i believe that both subjects has its own importantance to figure out the academic and professional life of a person. History is a part of our existence that from where we came and what we did for living a peaceful life what was the sacrifice our leaders and our grand parents do for us to get a pleasant life. A student should must have a knowledge of his country history to develop a patriotism in their selfs,also history subject it self has a tremendous opportunity to stable a student to make his wealth and academic career.

while i truly says that science subject has tremendous opportunity for students. it also make students capable of understanding the nature , and the whole process of nature ,each and single thing that happens can be understandable by the students with the help of science subjects.

Technology also made over life easier than past.. and there was also the students who developed the different aspects of technology and made the world unbelievable by their development. undoubtedly technology and science has a vast career for students to make their inventions by getting proper knowledge about every aspect of technology.

In conclusion to my view i truley says that science and technology is a major subject for development of students to make their careers but without understanding your history my question arises that how student will came to know that what where the inventions made by their elders in the past? for that both has equall important -ance
