IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that in today’s world subjects like Science and technology are more important than History.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant example form your own knowledge or experience.
Student answer (Band 4.5)
A significant amount of people thought that history is one of the crucial subject in schools rather than other group of people. Prefer the science and technology subjects over history. Both In my opinion history plays a is a magnificent subject moreover the science and technology are also important. I have to discuss the both opinions.
In the first paragraph history is one of important subject that we the schools taught the students in every class standard. All the developments that are happened in this world deeply connected to the history. Students admire to read the historical aspects not only the different scientist and writer but also the countries vision.
In the second paragraph, other group of people prefer the science and technology subjects. These subjects play a vital role for future amdements in the different fields but it doesn't mean we can forget the history. Everything that is happening in this advanced world getting something valuable from history.
In my perspective both the subjects are important history is need to read that how scientist and different writers thought and work in the past while the science and technology give us the knowledge how we use the past developments to apply new technology and generate something new in future.
To be conclude that both the subjects are equally important no subject is superior than the other. We should have taught all these subjects in schools to children for their personal professional and career growth in their life's that brings the prosperity.
