Student answer (Band 5.0)
discussing about hoistory and as a subject, history both stand diffrent in current world but many belive that in todays fast world other subject like science and technology are also as important as the senstive subject like history.
for example teaching history to the new geration is a neccesary thing beacuse if new genrtaion is not aware about the past and what kind of war and freedom fight were happend on the past they dont get aware about it they dont feel proud and regime about their culture beause navegating current adults on the right path for that history play massive role. but, beacuse of only eduacte them only one subject that does'nt appropriate if the teenage want to compete in current market they also should be aware about artifical inteligent world they also should be more in technology and multiple skill beacuse this kind of subject and skill required in current world.
apperntly if you are more aware about history so you can get more involve in historical places like archology, history teacher, musyology even it help when you are into creative field but you aware about another subject like science and other student can be doctor a tech person,a scintiest and many profesion.
in my opinion one of juniour artist has magnificent knowldege about medival time beacuse he is working on this kind of subject but he wants create some digital work beacuse he has to give a presentaion on a muesum where his work would be dispaly but beacuse he is not aware about digital he has to give this work to another person so this how in my prespective having multipule knowledge is always helps.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses the task partially, covering both the importance of history and the counter-view regarding science and technology, along with a personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited and sometimes unclear. For instance, the discussion on why history is important touches on freedom fights and cultural pride, but the reasoning remains underdeveloped and repetitive, moving abruptly into the need for technology without smooth transitions. The student presents a personal position, illustrated by the example of a junior artist, but the connection between the example and the prompt's core debate is somewhat convoluted. To move to a higher level, the writer needs to extend and support all main ideas with clearer, more fully elaborated arguments throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
There is some organisation present, but the response lacks a clear overall progression. The text suffers from poor paragraphing, notably being compressed into massive blocks of text that make the logical flow difficult to follow. Cohesive devices are generally inadequate, inaccurate, or overused, with excessive reliance on running phrases together without proper sentence boundaries or punctuation. For example, sentences often string multiple clauses together using basic conjunctions like 'beacuse' and 'and', creating a dense and repetitive structure. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as shifting abruptly between broad arguments and a specific personal anecdote without proper signposting. Improving this criterion requires breaking the essay into distinct, logically structured paragraphs and using a wider, more accurate variety of cohesive devices to guide the reader smoothly through the arguments.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited in range and minimally adequate for the task. There are noticeable lexical errors and spelling mistakes throughout the response, such as 'hoistory', 'geration', 'neccesary', 'eduacte', 'artifical inteligent', 'apperntly', 'archology', 'musyology', 'muesum', and 'dispaly', which occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader. While the student attempts to use less common vocabulary related to the prompt, such as 'culture', 'market', and 'profession', these attempts are undermined by persistent spelling inaccuracies and awkward word choices. To achieve a higher score, the writer must expand their lexical repertoire and eliminate basic spelling and word-form errors to ensure clearer and more precise communication.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response demonstrates a very limited range of grammatical structures, relying heavily on run-on sentences that attempt complexity but result in frequent errors. There are numerous mistakes in basic grammar, verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles—for instance, writing 'were happend on the past' instead of 'happened in the past', and 'having multipule knowledge is always helps'. Punctuation is also poorly handled, with a distinct lack of proper sentence demarcation, leading to lengthy, convoluted sentences containing multiple clauses without adequate terminal punctuation. These frequent grammatical errors can cause difficulty and strain for the reader. Enhancing grammatical control requires mastering simple sentence demarcation, reducing structural errors, and demonstrating better control over complex sentence patterns.
