There are many people, who reckon that History is important discipline in school because it eleborate the history of ancient period and also some usefull busniess in the past. For example, with the help of history people can easily tell their children about ancient time, where lot of people fight for freedom and also they get knowledge about the business because nowdays mostly people doing advance technology skills use in bsiness, but in the past they used hand for making something like handcraft item, which are not available nowdays because it made by machnies, so the quality of these iteams are not good as compared to the past.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on the importance of History versus Science and Technology, and a clear personal opinion is stated in the introduction and conclusion. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed. For instance, the arguments regarding the value of History touch upon ancient periods and past businesses, but the explanations become slightly confused, such as the comparison between handmade and machine-made items. Similarly, the points about science and technology focusing on wealth and modern items are presented generally without deeper elaboration. While the prompt is partially addressed, the lack of fully extended and supported ideas places the task response at this level.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear attempt at paragraphing, separating the introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Progression is visible as the essay moves logically from discussing history to discussing science and technology, and finally to the writer's opinion. However, cohesion is at times mechanical or faulty. Transitional phrases and referencing are occasionally awkward, such as 'Many individuals said' instead of 'Some individuals say', and the linking between sentences lacks smooth integration. Paragraphing is present and used sufficiently to structure the text, but the management of cohesive devices needs better control to ensure seamless transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used provides a minimally adequate range for the task, attempting less common items like 'ancient period' and 'advancement', but this is accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling. Examples include 'instutuations' for institutions, 'eleborate' for elaborate, 'usefull' for useful, 'busniess' for business, 'nowdays' for nowadays, 'machnies' for machines, 'iteams' for items, 'fild' for field, and 'leaen' for learn. These spelling and lexical errors are frequent and occasionally cause some difficulty for the reader, restricting the lexical score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The text displays a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple and attempt-heavy complex sentences. There are frequent grammatical errors in verb forms, tenses, subject-verb agreement, and articles. Examples include 'Many individuals said History is one of vital field' (incorrect article and singular/plural agreement), 'I will be discussed the both point of views' (incorrect passive/active verb form and pluralisation), 'mostly people doing advance technology skills use in bsiness' (faulty clause structure), and 'History play a vital role' (lack of third-person singular agreement). These frequent errors cause occasional difficulty for the reader and reflect a limited grammatical range with persistent inaccuracies.
