In today's modern world, an increasing number of people argue that subject like history is play a significant role in school subjects. While the opposition hold a view that today's contemporary world, modern subjects like Science and technology are very crucial and have more priority upon history. On the one hand, a growing number of people believe that history subject is very important because to remember the history of their country or region. To elaborate further, they argue that subject like history allows us to gain some knowledge about our nation, culture and society to recall the struggles and hard work of our grandparents and leaders. Likewise, with help of history we can keep the history of our nation safe and remember. Furthermore, history can enable us to stay connected with our culture and follow a particular ehics which are madatory to live a well known and polite life.
On the other hand, critics hold a view that other such as science and techology play a very significant role for development and innovation. Therefore, these subjects are need to be teach in school to prepare students for upcoming competitive and modern world. Whereas other argue that science and technology subject are very essential in this modern era because to prepare sutdent for new advanced skills and development of new innovation. From my point of view, a balanced approach will more benefical to learn some history to keep their ehics and norms in their mind and the major focus will be given to the science and techology subjects because to understand the complexity of this modern world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both sides of the discussion and give a clear personal position: history matters for cultural understanding, while science and technology deserve greater emphasis in the modern world. The examples of solar panels, hybrid cars and data analysis help make the second view more concrete. This meets the task well, but the two perspectives are not developed equally: the history paragraph mainly repeats the idea of remembering culture and heritage, and the conclusion introduces a balanced approach without explaining how schools might achieve it. To strengthen the response, explain the consequences of learning history or science in more depth and support the final preference with a specific reason or example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical because several sentences begin with linking expressions such as “Furthermore,” “Moreover” and “In addition.” Some references are also unclear, particularly “these subjects” and “their” in the conclusion, where the reader must infer what they refer to. Improve flow by connecting related points more naturally and making references explicit. For example, explain how a particular historical lesson leads to cultural understanding rather than adding another general statement about remembering the past.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “development,” “innovation,” “competitive,” “culture” and “data analysis,” and you attempt some less common expressions. However, word choice and collocation are often inaccurate or repetitive, which limits precision. Phrases such as “history subject,” “have more priority upon history” and “keep the history of our nation safe and remember” do not sound natural, while “ethics” and “mandatory” are misspelled in the response. Repeated use of “very significant” and “modern” also narrows the range. Aim to learn vocabulary in natural combinations and check spelling and word forms carefully; this will make your ideas clearer and more fluent.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “while” and “which,” and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur in basic sentence patterns as well as longer structures. For example, “subject like history is play” has problems with number and verb form, while “these subjects are need to be teach” combines incorrect passive forms. Other examples include “a balanced approach will more beneficial” and “students can enable to learn,” which are missing or misusing grammatical elements. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles and passive constructions first, then build longer sentences from those reliable patterns.
