Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You identify both sides of the discussion and state that history and science are important, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the opinion is not clearly explained or supported, and the discussion remains minimal: history is linked to learning about national heroes, while science and technology are linked to AI, but neither point is developed with a clear reason or specific example. The sentence about government requiring a daily history lecture is also unclear and does not establish why this subject should be prioritised. The response contains 188 words, so it is 62 words below the required minimum; this limits how fully you can address both views. Develop each side with a reason and an example, then explain your own position directly.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: you introduce the two views, discuss history, and then move to science and technology using “To begin with” and “For the other side.” This gives the reader some sense of the intended progression. However, the opening repeats the question and then adds an unclear sentence about “the solution for this position,” while ideas within the body paragraphs are difficult to follow. For example, the sequence about government, lectures, books, and national heroes lacks clear links. Some transitions are inaccurate or repetitive, and there is no concluding paragraph to bring the discussion and your opinion together. Use one paragraph for each view, connect each reason to its example, and finish with a concise conclusion.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use a basic set of relevant topic words, including “history,” “science,” “technology,” “student,” and “national hero,” which allows the reader to recognise the subject of the essay. However, vocabulary is repetitive and often imprecise, so some ideas are hard to understand. Phrases such as “technology worlds,” “worked the human place,” and “AI all works in this time” do not express the intended meaning naturally. There are also spelling errors, including “tecaher,” “importan,” and “donot.” Build a more precise range for discussing education and technological change, and check spelling carefully. For instance, explain whether technology “has replaced some human tasks” rather than saying it “worked the human place.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt a few longer sentence patterns, such as “When every student read the book and check our history,” and use simple statements to communicate the main topic. However, sentence structures are mostly basic, and errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence construction frequently make the meaning unclear. Examples include “both subject is,” “Every tecaher explain,” and “Many student does not our history.” The opening also joins several ideas without clear grammatical connections. Practise forming complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check singular/plural agreement and verb tense. For example, “Many students study science and use technology” is clearer and grammatically controlled.
