Student answer (Band 5.0)

Whenever when we speak about the history we feel proud because we are always represent by our past.In the past students very happy to study the subject of histroy but today now in this generation some people and school doesn't allow the studenst to study the history as a subject. cultur, traditions and anicent traviliazation is given in histroy subjects.Histroy tell us that the how good patroitism is responsible for their country.I you dont study histroy subject you dont know the people scaifice their life for the country.Histroy, science and technology both plays a imp role in the students life.According to my opinions both have same level but some people does not think about they say that technology and science are more better but they are wrong

In my opinion science and technology gives new ideas for the development of any new products they help them how to solve complex problem instead history tell their culture and traditions and tell about their heroes stories. When i was studying in class 12 my only prefernec is to get high scores in core subjects just like as computer and science i don't focus on paksitan studies subject when the reslut comes i get good marks in all subject but when i enter in practical life i dont konow about my culture and traditions imp thinks.l dont speak my own launguage and there are some common probelm were also disturbing me.Then i have goal to study my histroy subject then i collect many information about histroy. Both subject plays imp role so keep focus on all type of subjects.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both sides by noting that science and technology support “the development of any new products” and that history teaches culture, traditions, and stories of national heroes. Your opinion—that both subjects matter—is also present, and the personal example about neglecting Pakistan Studies gives the response a relevant basis. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the benefits of science and technology are stated briefly, while the history argument relies mainly on patriotism and cultural knowledge. The claim that some schools “doesn't allow” students to study history is not explained or supported. To strengthen the response, develop each side with a clear reason and a specific example, then state your position consistently and explain why both subjects deserve importance.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic line of thought: you introduce the debate, describe the value of each subject, and finish by recommending attention to all subjects. The personal account also provides a recognisable example. However, ideas are crowded into long blocks, with no clear paragraphing to separate the two views and your own experience. Connections are often unclear, as in “both have same level but some people does not think about they say,” and “Then i have goal” does not clearly show how the earlier problem leads to your decision. Repeated use of “and,” “but,” and “then” makes the progression feel mechanical. Use separate paragraphs for each view and your opinion, and connect ideas with precise references and transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “culture,” “traditions,” “patriotism,” “development,” and “complex problem,” so the reader can identify the main subject matter. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “history,” “important,” and “subject.” Frequent spelling errors such as “histroy,” “cultur,” “ancient traviliazation,” and “prefernec” make parts of the response difficult to understand. Some expressions are also imprecise or unnatural, including “we are always represent by our past” and “their heroes stories.” Build a more accurate set of topic phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise wording would help you explain the distinct educational benefits of historical study and scientific learning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example when contrasting science and technology with history, and you use some simple statements to express your opinion. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence patterns, verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation. Examples include “we are always represent,” “Histroy tell us,” “both plays,” and “I you dont study.” Several sentences run together without full stops, which makes relationships between ideas harder to follow. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled clauses such as “while” or “because.” Check subject–verb agreement, past-tense forms in your school anecdote, and sentence boundaries during proofreading.
