Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

You identify the topic and begin to present one side: the contrast between History’s theoretical nature and the appeal of experiments in Science and Technology is relevant. However, the response does not adequately discuss both views or give a clear personal opinion, and the ideas are not supported with a developed reason or example. The final fragment, “which the have already decided even before compeleting schools,” does not clarify your argument. The response is also substantially below the required 250 words, so there is not enough content to fulfil the task. To improve, state your position directly, explain why History matters as well as why modern subjects are valued, and support each point with a specific example before concluding.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 3.5

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: the opening introduces the topic, and “On one hand” signals a discussion point. This gives the reader some indication of direction. However, the response stops before developing a complete argument, and the second paragraph contains unclear links between ideas, such as “its still studied by teachers and students are great in this subject but yet they makes science and technology more prior.” The final line is disconnected from the preceding sentence. Use separate paragraphs for the two views and your opinion, and connect each claim to its explanation with clear referencing and linking phrases. A complete conclusion would also help the progression feel finished.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “History,” “Science and Technology,” “theoretical,” “experiments,” and “engineers,” which helps establish the subject matter. There are also attempts to express comparison and preference. However, several word choices or forms are inaccurate or unclear, including “more prior,” “more advance,” and “dreams of become,” and spelling errors such as “enginneers,” “intrests,” and “compeleting” reduce accuracy. The phrase “neglecting as important subject” is difficult to interpret. Build a more precise range for discussing education, such as “prioritise,” “practical application,” and “historical understanding,” and check spelling and collocations carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The response attempts both simple statements and a longer sentence using contrast, for example, “History is one of the oldest subjects of the world but Science and Technology…” This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than rely only on isolated sentences. However, control is inconsistent: “Today's generation dreams of become” has an incorrect verb pattern, while “students are great in this subject” and “they makes” contain errors in sentence construction and subject–verb agreement. The sentence beginning “On one hand” also runs several clauses together, and the final fragment is incomplete. Practise accurate verb patterns (“dreams of becoming”), agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. Shorter, complete sentences would make your meaning clearer while you develop more varied structures.
