Science and technology provides a great impact as a subject. Nowadays, with the influence of technology life have improved, since the invention of Ai, individuals got an urge to invest their time to learn new skills that could be on a great advantage for them. From my perspective, technology has done more good than harm, Communicating with families and friends far has been made easy. Technology made life more easy, another example on how technology has been on great value is production of smart phones that can be used to browse and carry out research. Science and technology subject will help strengthen students to boarder their capacity and enable them create more inventions that will be beneficial to mankind.
History subject as the name implies has to do with acquiring knowledge about ancient data. The study is versatile and quite broad, it is mainly about ancient gods, men and women of calibars that made a name for themselves, ancient cites and many more.
From my perspective History subject is intersting, but i stand on the motion that Science and technology are more important. Due to the impact and benefits it has to offer. Science and technology brings dreams to reality and also brings future to present. Whereas, History is more like a story, it doesnt task the mind.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You present a clear preference for science and technology, especially in the final paragraph, and give relevant examples such as communication and smartphones. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the case for studying history is only briefly described: the paragraph lists ancient people and places but does not explain why historical knowledge matters to students or society. The opening also promises to discuss the subjects’ “pros and cons,” which is not quite the task’s focus. Your position is present, but it would be clearer if stated directly in the introduction and maintained consistently. Develop each side with a reason and a specific example, then explain why your preferred subject is more important.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, a paragraph on science and technology, a paragraph on history, and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader identify the main topics. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: the science paragraph moves from AI to communication and smartphones without clearly linking each example to the argument, while the history paragraph is mostly a list. Some connections are repetitive or abrupt, such as “From my perspective” appearing again in the conclusion and “another example” introducing a point without developing it. Use clearer topic sentences and connect each example to the claim it supports. A more balanced sequence—argument for history, argument for science and technology, then comparison and opinion—would make the discussion easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “invention,” “communicating,” “research,” “beneficial,” and “ancient,” and the reader can generally understand your intended meaning. There are also attempts at more expressive phrasing, such as “brings dreams to reality.” However, several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or awkward, including “provides a great impact,” “on a great advantage,” “ancient data,” and “boarder their capacity.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “intersting,” “calibars,” and “cites” also reduce precision. Aim for natural academic combinations and check spelling carefully. More precise terms for history’s value and for technology’s effects would help you express the comparison with greater flexibility.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, including a clause beginning “since the invention of AI,” and most of the main ideas remain understandable. However, the range is limited, and errors occur frequently in basic sentence construction and agreement. For example, “Some individuals believes” should use a plural verb, while “life have improved” needs a singular verb. The opening fragment beginning “While others think…” should be joined to the preceding sentence. There are also problems with articles, plurals, and punctuation, as in “the production of smart phones” and the comma splice in “more good than harm, Communicating…”. Practise accurate sentence boundaries and subject–verb agreement, then add a few controlled complex sentences to explain causes and comparisons.
