Student answer (Band 5.5)

Some individuals agrue that the most essental book of History subject, While Other believe that nowadays world subject like science and techology are the most essental rather than history. In my opinion, I believe that both are crucial becuase these both subject teach us how we can bright our future.

History is very important for our life beacuse if we did not know about our elders life style and how they can spend their life in past then how we can bright our future. History teach us lessons and also give advices. Fo example, When i was open the history book and I'm starting redaing they show me a war where our elders fighting for our country and they died there for his homeland because the country land is our mother and if someone hurt our mother land so then we fight. There is a bog lesson for us because our country is our mother and we cannot to allow someone hurt our mother.

BY other hand, Nowadays science and technology these both subject are very important beacuse they teach to us how we can bright our future and how we can our dreams come true. Nowadays wrold are to much advanced beacuse of science and technology we made a alot of machines and other things which help to in our work come easir and accuri. For example, IN past time we have no cars and we travel or ride horses but when we know baout science and technology they give us a proper idea and we leran how we can make car and travel easily to other city which was huge success for our life and todays we made a lot of advaced machnieries which help us to travel , wrok are in anything they become easier for us.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both sides of the discussion and give a clear overall view: History and science/technology are both important. The History paragraph explains that learning about the past can offer lessons, while the second body paragraph links technology with machines and easier travel. These examples are relevant, and the personal reference to reading about a war helps illustrate your point. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the History discussion focuses mainly on patriotism, and the science discussion gives a narrow example of cars. Explain more specifically what students gain from studying each subject and how those benefits compare. Your conclusion repeats your position but could briefly bring together the reasons supporting it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. This makes the main progression easy to follow. You also use signposting such as “For example” and “In conclusion” to show how ideas relate. At times, however, connections are mechanical or unclear: “BY other hand” does not form a natural transition, and repeated references to making the future “bright” do not clearly distinguish the points. Some sentences contain several ideas joined together, particularly the account of the war and the long example about cars, which makes the progression harder to track. Use clearer topic sentences and divide these explanations into shorter, logically connected steps.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “lessons,” “homeland,” “advanced,” “machines,” and “success,” and the reader can generally identify your intended meaning. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are frequent enough to make expression imprecise: examples include “essental,” “techology,” “accu ri” (intended as “accurate”), and “machnieries.” Several phrases are also unnatural, such as “bright our future,” “give advices,” and “our country land.” These issues limit the range and control of vocabulary, even though you try to discuss both historical and technological ideas. Build a bank of accurate topic collocations and check spelling and word forms carefully; for instance, use “shape a better future” and “provide advice.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer, complex sentences, including conditional forms such as “if we did not know … then how we can…” and clauses introduced by “because.” This shows some range, and the main message is usually recoverable. However, there are some recurring errors in sentence construction, tense, agreement, and articles. For example, “History teach us” needs subject–verb agreement, while “when I was open the history book” has an incorrect verb form and tense. The sentence beginning “Nowadays world are…” also has faulty agreement and structure. Punctuation and capitalisation are inconsistent, especially within the examples. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea at a time, then add subordinate clauses once the basic structure is secure.
