IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people say History is one of the most important school subjects. Other people think that in today’s world subjects like Science and technology are more important than History.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant example form your own knowledge or experience.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

Citizens debates that the ancient is one of the siginificant educational subjects,and few believes that in today's world subjects like science and technology are more weighted than history. In my opinion the history is the main subject that helps in both science and technology.

Many people argue that history is the more significant subject that should be involved in the education because with this subjects the students learn about the ancient civilization and learn and develop new things from its also helps to understand the human life and its purpose. In also provide a knoldege about the war and the destruction that take place after the war in the nation. By learning about the history individual can gather certian information that is reqiured for his research and also invent and develop things that are already co-existing in the world.

Although, some of them argue that science and technology is more important than history because it help the new generation to grow and develop fast enough and also provide all kind of data or information they need. Science and Technology both the factors helps in the growth and well being of the society by providing gagets and it hepls to identify different types of living things, In help to discover the space and the world it has greated impact on the worls these subjects helps the students to inovate something that is use full to the nation,

To conclude, the both subjects should be taught in the scholls it provides ancient and new generational knowledge. In my opinion the history is more important due to it paly a major role in the development of the society by learnig about the past inovations that has been done.
