Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You attempt to discuss both views: the first body paragraph says history teaches people about the past, lifestyle and culture, while the next presents science and technology as important in modern life. However, the discussion is very limited and several points are difficult to understand or support; for example, the link between science and hybrid vegetables and fruit is not clearly explained. Your own opinion is not stated clearly, despite “Yes i tell aboute the both views,” and the response ends without a conclusion. The response contains 200 words, so it does not meet the 250-word minimum; 28 words copied from the task prompt were excluded. Develop each view with a clear reason and relevant example, state your position directly, and add a concluding paragraph.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an opening, a paragraph about history, and a paragraph about science and technology. The contrast between the views is signalled by “But the other subject,” and “moreover” attempts to add information. However, progression within paragraphs is difficult to follow because ideas are repeated or joined without clear relationships, as in the long passage about science and vegetables. The final paragraph is incomplete, and there is no conclusion to bring the discussion together. Use one clear topic sentence per paragraph, arrange supporting points in a logical order, and use linking expressions only where they accurately show contrast, cause or addition.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “history,” “culture,” “science,” “technology,” and “advanced,” so the reader can identify the general subject of each paragraph. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make meaning unclear, such as “audiance,” “imfortant,” “presient life,” and “haibrade.” Some phrases are also imprecise, including “our all thinks is related in science” and “the third is tecnologe.” Build a reliable set of topic vocabulary and check spelling carefully. Prefer precise expressions such as “knowledge of the past,” “scientific advances,” and “digital technology,” and explain examples using familiar, accurate terms.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to form longer sentences and give reasons, for example with “because” and “moreover,” but control of sentence structure is inconsistent. Errors in verb forms, agreement, articles and sentence boundaries often make the relationships between ideas hard to follow: “you studyies history subject you give a lot of information” combines clauses without a clear structure, while “the science is more important in our life” shows problems with article and number agreement. Most sentences need clearer subject–verb patterns and punctuation. Practise writing accurate simple sentences first, then join them with a conjunction when the relationship is clear. Check verb forms and singular/plural agreement during revision.
