Student answer (Band 5.0)

some people say that history is one of the most important school subject. other people think that in advance world subject like science and technology are more important than history.

According to my opinion History and technnology both are the most important subjects.

History is the most important subject in school becouse students can know about his elder and his early culture. history also hilps people in technology and science. one of the better topic evalotion can get help from the history according to these word history is the basic of sience. with out history student cannot aware himself from sciencetist becouse the life of sciencetist is also write in history. history also helps student to know about the earlist era that how his elder spend his life.

On the other hand science and technology have also most important roll in socity morever the advance era is suffering from advance technology and every day the new innovation is occur so. if student know about the technology in the childhood they will be live peacefully in this world becouse they will be understand every thing about technology and they will be know that technology is the thing which make us our lives easy.

In my perspictive both have thier own roll in school life one is important for social education and the other is important for modren life education so every thing in the world have thier own roll in huen life. forexample if someone know about the history and since they will be not perfict in education but if someone get knoledge about both they will be perfict in his knowlidge.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both sides of the discussion and give a clear overall view that History and technology are both important. The paragraphs also include relevant reasons: History can teach students about earlier cultures and scientific development, while technology is presented as useful in modern life. However, these ideas remain limited and are not consistently explained. For example, the claim that technology helps students “live peacefully” is unclear, and the final example does not show precisely how studying both subjects improves education. The response therefore only partially develops the task. To strengthen it, explain each main reason with a specific example and make the comparison between the subjects more explicit. The required length was met; 17 words copied from the task prompt were excluded from the count.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph about History, a paragraph about science and technology, and a concluding opinion. Transitions such as “On the other hand” help signal the shift between views. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow because several ideas are joined together without clear relationships. For instance, the History paragraph moves from culture to scientific development and then to scientists’ lives without explaining the links. Connectors such as “morever” and “so” are sometimes used inaccurately, and the conclusion repeats the idea that both subjects matter rather than drawing the discussion together. Organise each paragraph around one main point, then use clear supporting sentences and more precise referencing.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “culture,” “innovation,” “technology,” and “social education,” so the reader can generally identify your intended subject matter. However, the range is limited and several spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand. Examples include “advance world,” “evalotion,” “roll,” and “perspictive.” Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “the life of scientist is also write in history” and “make us our lives easy.” These issues show that vocabulary is not yet controlled consistently enough for clear expression. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; prioritise natural expressions over trying to use more complex words.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences, and the response is divided into paragraphs that broadly match the task. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and attempts to form complex sentences often contain errors that make meaning unclear. For example, “if student know about the technology in the childhood they will be live peacefully” has problems with articles, agreement, and verb form. In “the new innovation is occur,” the verb construction is also faulty. Plural forms and sentence boundaries are inconsistent, as in the opening sentences and the long final sentence beginning “for example.” Practise accurate subject–verb agreement, articles, and conditional structures, and use full stops to separate ideas. These changes would make your meaning easier to follow.
