IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.5)

The plans provide information regarding the layout of a university's games centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Overall, it is clear that there will be some places remain unchanged like changing room and reception, while a lot of places will be converted into another places.

To commence with, now entrance as well as reception is in South direction, while gym is in North direction. Moreover, there are two outdoor courts one is in West direction and other is in East direction. In addition, pool is in the centre of a university and around that there is changing room as well as seating.

However, in future entrance, reception, seating and changing room will be remain unchanged, while gym size will be increased and there will be two dance studio in east direction. Additionally outdoor courts will be converted into leisure pool and sports hall. In contrast, there will be addition of two new changing room, sports chops and cafe in sport centre.
