Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The response successfully identifies the main features of the redevelopment plans. You have clearly contrasted the current layout with the proposed changes, such as the removal of outdoor courts and the addition of new facilities like the leisure pool and dance studios. The overview is present and highlights the significant transformation of the centre. To improve, ensure you avoid minor inaccuracies; for example, you mentioned the gym will be extended to the eastern part, but the plan shows it moving to the west. Additionally, ensure all labels from the diagram are accurately reflected to provide a more comprehensive summary.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The response is logically organized, moving from a general overview to specific details about the western and eastern sections. You have used a variety of cohesive devices such as 'To begin', 'Subsequently', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore' to guide the reader through the changes. However, the paragraphing is somewhat limited; the entire body of the response is contained within a single paragraph. Dividing the information into two distinct paragraphs—one for the western changes and one for the eastern changes—would significantly improve the clarity and structure of your report.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You have used a sufficient range of vocabulary to describe the changes, such as 'renovated', 'demolished', 'expanded', and 'adjacent'. These terms are appropriate for a task of this nature. There are a few minor errors, such as 'a introduction' (should be 'an introduction') and 'tow' (a spelling error for 'two'). While the vocabulary is adequate to convey the intended meaning, incorporating more precise descriptive language or synonyms for 'built' or 'placed' would help elevate your score to a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5

The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical slips, such as 'after it will be the renovated' (should be 'after it is renovated') and 'there will a leisure pool' (missing 'be'). Additionally, 'witness a remarkable changes' contains a subject-verb agreement error. These errors do not impede communication, but they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for articles and verb forms will help improve your accuracy.
