IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The two plans illustrate the layout of a university's sports center at present and how it will book after redevelopment.

Overall, the center will be redevelop with several new facilities. While key facilities such as the 25m pool, seating area, Gym, changing room. the outdoor courts are redeveloped with dance studio, Leisure pool, sports shop, cafe.

Looking at the current layout 25m pool is located in middle. with a Gym in north, in south Reception and west side changing room is located and in east Seating is places. there are 2 outdoor courts are located in west and east.

Coming to future plan pool, Gym, seating , changing room, Reception are at same places. but east outdoor courts are redeveloped by adding these Sports hall, there are two Dance studio are placed at east. in north Leisure pool is replaced. near Reception west Sports shop and east cafe is added.

and also they added two more Changing rooms. they placed in corner of west and east.
