IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Plan describes the comparison of current structure of the university's sports center and how it would look like in the future.
Current sports center has basic facilities like a gym, seating area, changing room, reception and a 25 meters long pool in the center of the main building. There are two outdoor courts as well on each side of the central building.
Other map shows the advanced facilities that would be installed to it apart from the current. There would be some extra sections that includes sports shop, cafe, dance studios, a leisure pool.
After advancements outdoor courts will no longer present in the university's sports center, while there would be sports hall besides the seating area. Instead of ne changing room there would be two changing rooms on the each corners of the entrance. Leisure pool would also be included in the enhancements to provide the advanced facilities in the sports center .
