IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The given pair of maps represents the changes increased after the redevelopment of a university 's sports center.
Overall it is crystal clear that many of buildings will be demolished and constructed to new buildings but seating area and reception will be remain untouched.
At a fleeting glance, firstly we seen that their will be in entrance both sides of sports centre cafe, sports shop and changing rooms will setup in east and west side of sports centre. Secondly we seen at the top of sports centre we can seen that gym area will made bigger from present in future plan.
Furthermore, it is noticed that outdoor courts will be situated in east and west sides of maps but it will variations into two small dance studio on the corner at the top northeast side of sports centre and next to seating area there will be developed a sports hall and another southwest side of maps their will constructed leisure pool.
