The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given maps illustrates the comparison between the current layout of university sports centre and its future redevelopment plan.

Looking from an overall prespective, many major changes has taken place in the sports centre, with improved facilities and buildings.

At present, the university arean has one main building with five different facilities, and there are two outdoor courts on the both sides. The future arena is planned to be bigger, outdoor courts are removed. However, the reception, deep pool, changing room and seating area is on the same place. However, gym si

On the western part, leisure pool will be installed, moreover, the eastern part is predicted to have a sports hall and a pair of dance studios. In addition, two new changing room is going to seen on both left and right sides of the corner after the entrance, in front of sports shop and a cafe.
