IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.5)
This map illustrates the layout of a sports centre now and how it will change after redevelopment of university's sports centre.
Overall several changes will happen in sports centre such as outdoor courts will be redeveloped in leisure pool and other one will be changed into sports hall. While other 25m pool, gym and changing room remain same.
Firstly in the north west side of the sports centre there is outdoor courts which will be changed into leisure pool with changing room after redevelopment. In the east side of sports centre there is also the outdoor courts will be change into sports hall and dance studio. A cafe and the small changing room will also built in redevelopment in east south of sports centre.
Secondly, After redevelopment in future some sites will remain same which includes 25 metre pool, Gym, Reception and seating area in university's sports centre. These changes will beneficial for athletes who practice everyday in university's sports centre.
