IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.5)
The diagram illustrates information about the layout of a university's sport center now and how it will look after redevelopment in the future.
Overall, the university sports center only has few facilities for students but in the future plans there will be leisure pool, cafe, sports shops and changing room added in the future plans.
Initially, the west side of outdoor courts will be converted into leisure pool and in front of it, there will be changing room and beside there will be an addition of sports shop added for people. Moreover, the east side of outdoor courts will be converted into sports hall and in north east corner there will be an addition of two dance studio for university students. In south- east corner there will an addition of changing room and beside that cafe will be built for university people. However, the reception will remain in the same place.
