IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
This diagram show the university sports center present condition and how it will be in future after redevelopment.
First in west of sports centre there is a outdoor courts after redevelopment there are many changes we see it. The west area is totally change there is a leisure pool, changing room and sports shop. In present map the main entrance is reception in east of reception there is a also outdoor courts but in future it will be change in the sports hall, changing room and dance studio. In north of the main entrance present map show changing room ,gym and 25m pool. But in future there is many changes that we see.
In future the sports hall is attached the reception area. In north and south before enter the reception is the totally change in the future. Many other things is add in the future. In past there is no sports shop and crafts but in future it is add in north and south. The gym before is small area but after its area is big. The future map is very big and add many things in it. All areas looked combine to the main entrance.
