The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The maps show the design of a university's sports club now, and how will it become after renovation.

In the South there is a reception from where one would enter. Moving towards the North there is a pool situated moroever there is also a gym in the extreme North. Besides it there is a changing room and a seating at left and right side respectively. In the extreme West and East there are two outdoor courts for the outdoor games. It is an ordinary sports complex however administration has decided to modify it.

The given future format demonstrates that the entrance has been expanded with a cafe and a changing room in the East. On the other hand there is a sports shop and a changing room in the West of enrtance. Following North there is a reception which has a pool and a gym behind it. Next to pool in the East there is a seating and sports hall. Opposite to sports hall there are two dance studio. Following West of pool there is a changing room and a leisure pool. This future design is much more modern.
