IELTS Writing Task 1 question
The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
The illustration gives information about the university sports centre in recent years and its shape that will be after the redevelopment. Overall, in the future there will be more facilities for the students as compared with now. There will dance studio, a cafe, a sports shop and three different changing rooms for the students in the future.
It is evident from the plans that the institutional sports centre is present the pool is in the centre of this, about 25 m long with two more facilities for students on the north side of this pool is a gym and on the west side is a changing room for participants in competition, and there are two large outdoor courts on the west and east sides.
Meanwhile, the sports center in the future will have a lot of facilities for the students in the center, like refreshments, there will be a cafe and also two rooms for new facility of dance at the east side and it will have one leisure pool in an open area for just enjoyment with attach one changing room.
