The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
The digrams given below illustrate the layouts of sports centre of a university in present time and in future after redevelopment.
Overall, there are several major changes are part of the plan for future development such as outdoor courts will be demolished and numerous new facilities will be going to develop.
To begin with, The pool remained same along with seating, changing room and reception around it. Meanwhile, Gym area will be expanding to east side. A sports hall will be introduced in place of outdoor courts which are located in eastern side. In addition, two dance studios will be created on east side of sports hall and a gym.
Furthermore, on the east side of entrance a new cafe and changing room development is a part of future redevelopment. In contrast, on the west side of entrance a sports shop will be going to develop with changing room. The major part of western outdoor courts are going to be converted in the leisure pool.
