The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 6.0)

The two plans illustrate the layout of an university's sports center now and how it planned to look after future development.

Overall, the university sports center had several changes in the future. Specifically the three blocks are combined into a big complex with more facilities, where reception, gym and 25m pool remain unchanged.

Looking at the deatil, in present plan the sport center contains three blocks, where the pool was at the center. On both sides of the center, the outdoor courts are avaliable. The mid one contains an entrance from southern side followed by a reception infront of the entrance, changing room, 25m pool, seating and a gym.

Meanwhile, in the future plan all the three blocks are combined into a huge complex. The entrace remains same, on the left side of an entrance a sports shop, Chaning room followed by a lesiure pool will be counstructed. While on the right side of the reception a cafe, changing room, a big sports hall, two dance studios and finally a gym was redesigned.
