IELTS Writing Task 1 question

The plans below show the layout of a university’s sports centre now, and how it will look after redevelopment.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Student answer (Band 5.5)

The given picture depicts the layout of a university's sport center and the future re-development. Interestingly, the area has significantly transformed.

The university sport center in the present time has reception as we enter,25 meter pool, seating area, changing room and there is no change in this places for future too. There were outdoor courts on both the sides which is on East and West, which is going to be replaced by leisure pool sports hall ,respectively.The gym area is going to extend in future plan.

Moreover, on the North-east the university is building two dance studios in future. Changing room and cafe will be established on South-east of the college. Lastly, the South-west side there will be one more changing room and sport shop for the players.

Overall, the sports center will be highly expanded as compared to the present layout and will be having more facilities in future.
