Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You identify the main overall change: the centre expands, outdoor courts disappear, and new facilities are added, while several existing features remain. You also mention the 25m pool, reception and seating staying in place. However, some details are mislocated: the sports hall and café are in the eastern part of the future centre, not the western side, and the added changing room and sports shop are in the south-west, not below the reception. The gym remains on the north side but extends eastward, rather than simply staying the same. To make the summary more complete and precise, group the new facilities by side and distinguish the two added dance studios from the other eastern additions.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an opening, an overview and paragraphs describing changes and retained features. This gives the reader a basic route through the comparison. However, progression is weakened by inaccurate or unclear links between locations: “on the western side” groups the sports hall and café with the wrong area, while “below the reception” makes the south-west additions difficult to place. Some connectors are also awkward or mechanical, such as “Beginning with,” “Furthermore,” and “In contrast,” where the relationship between ideas is not always clear. Organise the details consistently by west, centre and east, and use simpler links such as “On the western side” and “Meanwhile” to make the comparisons easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for describing plans, including “layout,” “addition,” “remained,” “removed” and “future plans,” so the topic is generally clear. There is also an attempt to vary wording, for example “redesign” and “extra addition.” However, several word choices and forms are inaccurate or unnatural, including “sport center,” “dancing studios,” “reserve for a leisure pool” and “deepth.” “A small cafewere” also contains a spelling/spacing problem. These slips sometimes make the intended facility or change less precise. Use standard plan-description collocations such as “sports centre,” “dance studios,” “space allocated for” and “25-metre pool,” and check spelling and singular/plural forms before finishing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and more complex comparisons, including “While, pool with 25m deepth, reception and seating area area will be consider at same location as it is now.” This shows an effort to compare future and present arrangements, but some sentence structures are incomplete or difficult to follow. For example, “Beginning with, outdoor courts which is totally removed…” is a fragment, and “Gym space will be extand and remained” combines verb forms incorrectly. There are also errors with articles, agreement and tense, as in “a extra space” and “changing room and sports shop is extra addition.” Build complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use consistent future forms for planned changes, such as “will be removed” and “will be added.”
