Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You identify the main contrast: the centre expands, outdoor courts are replaced by indoor facilities, and some existing features remain. You also correctly locate the reception to the south and mention the pool, gym, seating and changing room. However, several important future changes are unclear or missing. For example, the western courts become a leisure pool, the gym extends eastward, and two dance studios are added along the eastern wall; these details are not accurately reported. The phrase “in opposite of that” also makes the locations of the new shop and changing room difficult to interpret. To strengthen the summary, give a clear overview of the expansion and describe the new facilities by side and position.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, an overview, and separate descriptions of the present and future layouts. This helps the reader follow the broad comparison. However, progression within the final paragraph is difficult to track, particularly in “inaddition outd is being converted similarly gym, seating and a changing room and a meter of pool remained unchanged in future.” Several linking expressions, including “similarly,” “in addition” and “on the other hand,” are used inaccurately or do not show a clear relationship between ideas. Organise the future features by area—for example, west, centre and east—and use simpler, precise links. Clearer sentence boundaries and references would also make the description easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for describing plans, including “reception area,” “outdoors courts,” “changing room” and “extended.” However, the range is limited, and several word choices or spellings make the meaning unclear. “In the presents year” is not a natural way to refer to the current plan, while “the meter of the pool is 25” does not clearly express the pool’s length. There are also spelling and form errors such as “recption,” “anda” and “inaddition.” Use accurate facility names and location language consistently, and choose standard map-description phrases. More precise vocabulary would help you report the changes without relying on vague wording such as “in opposite of that.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, and the present-versus-future comparison is a useful grammatical framework. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in sentence structure, articles, agreement and verb forms sometimes make the description hard to understand. For example, “the map illustrates the change that took place” conflicts with the future plans, and “the meter of the pool is 25” is not formed clearly. The final sentence, “sports hall and dance studio is being,” is incomplete and has an agreement problem. Practise complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and use present tense for the existing plan and future forms for proposed changes. Check punctuation and sentence boundaries before finishing.
