Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions by identifying unequal access to food and wealth as causes, then proposing government support and donations from wealthy people. This gives the response a relevant central direction. However, the explanation is only partly developed: the claim that agricultural progress has not ended hunger is not connected to specific causes such as conflict, poverty, food waste, or barriers to distribution. Some points are also unclear or imprecise—for example, the reference to “white collars” does not clearly explain which people are affected, and the example about political personalities is asserted rather than supported. To strengthen the response, explain how each cause leads to hunger and develop practical solutions, such as improving transport and storage or targeting food assistance to vulnerable communities.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of the argument. You also use signposting such as “To begin with,” “Furthermore,” and “To sum up.” However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow because several ideas are joined together without clear links, and “Whereas on the other hand” is an awkward transition into the solutions. References such as “it” in “It assist to ressolve the challenge” are not always clear. Use one main point per paragraph, connect each explanation explicitly to the topic, and choose transitions that show the precise relationship between ideas.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “unequal distribution,” “valuable resources,” “poverty,” and “technological advancement,” and these choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations make meaning unclear, such as “limited the rights of wealth,” “release income for them,” and “ratio of hungry.” There are also frequent spelling errors, including “distrubute,” “signifacant,” “negligance,” and “enviornment,” which reduce the accuracy and ease of reading. Build a reliable set of phrases for causes and solutions, such as “unequal access to food,” “allocate funding,” and “food insecurity,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use some longer sentence forms to explain causes and results, including sentences beginning “Furthermore” and “so that,” which shows an attempt to vary structure. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in sentence boundaries, agreement, verb forms, and articles can make the argument difficult to read. For example, the opening joins several complete ideas without appropriate punctuation, while “it also help” lacks subject–verb agreement and “they are suffering from poverty” follows an unclear grammatical connection. The conclusion also contains a sentence fragment-like construction: “The major challenge of this issue is not equality … as well as limited source of wealth.” Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas with accurate clauses and punctuation.
