Student answer (Band 6.0)

Although agricultural technology has improved over the past decades. Millions of people worldwide will suffer from hunger. This essay will totally about the main reason of this problem and solutions of this problems. Hunger remains a global challenge because of unequal distribution of food, poverty, unstable economy , invention, conflicts and climate change.

First of all, the one major reason is the food will not distribute equally, while some countries produce more than they need other face poverty because of poverty poor infrastructure and weak transportation systems. As a result, food often fails to reach those who need it most. furthermore, it will leads to increase in rate of hungry people in world.

Second point is that, farmer. a Farmer played a significant role in the agricultural. In a fast changing world, mostly crops producers more rely on that kind of machinery that totally start and end by through Artificial intelligence. Machinery replaces with farmer due to high productivity in less time. basically, farming is a source of income of farmer. if it will not be provided then ultimately they still go hungry rather than moves to wealthy.

In my opinion, The solution of this problem is that make some rules and regulation and must be implement on those people who would not allow to farmer to work on agricultural. like impose high taxes on machinery. by this farmer will earn money more through work in agricultural. Also this problem should be overcome if country facilitate hungry people, by provide subsidies.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for global hunger and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is limited. The explanation regarding unequal distribution is relevant but lacks depth. The second point regarding farmers and AI is somewhat confusingly argued, as it is unclear how taxing machinery would directly solve global hunger. The position is clear, but the arguments are underdeveloped and rely on generalizations. To improve, you should provide more specific examples or logical links between the causes (e.g., poverty, climate change) and the proposed solutions to ensure a more cohesive and persuasive argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as the transition 'furthermore, it will leads to increase'. There are also issues with referencing and logical progression; for instance, the jump from discussing food distribution to the role of farmers is abrupt. While there is an attempt to use linking words like 'First of all' and 'Second point', the flow between sentences is frequently interrupted by grammatical errors, which makes the overall progression feel somewhat disjointed.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'main reason', 'problem', and 'money'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'invention' (which does not fit the context of hunger causes) and 'moves to wealthy' (which is non-standard). While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of sophisticated collocations or topic-specific vocabulary limits the score. You should aim to incorporate more precise terminology related to agriculture, economics, and social policy to demonstrate a wider lexical range.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors that occasionally impede communication. There are frequent issues with subject-verb agreement ('it will leads to', 'farmer played'), article usage, and sentence structure (e.g., 'This essay will totally about...'). Many sentences are simple or contain structural errors that make them difficult to parse. While there is an attempt to use complex structures, these are often faulty. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, specifically verb tenses and pluralization, before attempting more complex grammatical forms. Proofreading for basic errors like 'a Farmer' would also be beneficial.
