No doubt technology increased the yield of our crops as well as saving time compared to traditional methods.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you identify relevant causes like population growth and economic factors, the arguments are under-developed and lack sufficient supporting examples. The essay ends abruptly, leaving the second part of the prompt (solutions) largely unaddressed beyond a brief mention of job creation. To improve, you must expand on your points with specific examples and ensure a balanced structure that fully addresses both parts of the question. The current length prevents a full exploration of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay lacks a clear structure. Paragraphing is inconsistent, and the transition between ideas is often abrupt. While there is a basic attempt to sequence ideas, the lack of cohesive devices makes the flow of the argument difficult to follow. For example, the shift from population growth to unemployment is sudden and lacks a logical connector. To improve, use linking words such as 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'in addition' to connect sentences and ensure each paragraph focuses on a single, well-developed idea.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and repetitive, often relying on basic phrasing. There are noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'increased as double as quantity' and 'made jobless to people'. These errors occasionally impede the clarity of your message. To reach a higher band, you should aim to use a wider range of topic-specific vocabulary related to agriculture and economics, and focus on using words in their correct grammatical context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that affect readability. Issues include incorrect verb forms ('is totally depends'), missing articles, and awkward sentence structures ('Most of the food items producing from agriculture'). There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the errors in basic grammar are persistent. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions. Proofreading for basic sentence construction will help reduce the frequency of these errors.
