It is undeniable that hunger has become common problem in nations. In this regard, advances made in agriculture many people around the world still go hungry. This essay will outlined not only the reasons/factors/causes of this notion but also some solutions to mitigate this issue of forthcoming fragment with logical conclusions.

To commence with, there are several reasons in this regard such as firstly climate change is considered one of the most concerned reason for the destruction of the crops. Some farmers which are living in the countryside area away from the urban areas generally face many problems regarding rainfall than others because some of them live near the canals. So when there is heavy rainfall one they are facing loss by it and on other side the water level in the canals rise which become the main problem for them. Because the canals are not able to store much water so they get damaged and the large amount of water they are holding rise into the farmers land and destroy their crops. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for hunger and potential solutions. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. The explanation regarding climate change and canal flooding is specific but lacks a broader perspective on other systemic causes like poverty, distribution issues, or conflict. The solutions provided are also quite basic, focusing primarily on individual food storage and government subsidies. To achieve a higher band, you should expand your arguments with more diverse examples and a more sophisticated analysis of the global nature of the problem, rather than focusing solely on a single scenario involving canal flooding.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the logical progression is often hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. While you use linking words like 'To commence with' and 'However', the internal flow within paragraphs is disjointed. For instance, the transition between the discussion of climate change and food wastage is abrupt. Additionally, the referencing is sometimes unclear, such as the phrase 'forthcoming fragment' in the introduction, which does not fit the context. Improving the use of cohesive devices to connect sentences more naturally would significantly enhance the readability and structure of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. You rely on basic terms like 'common problem', 'destruction', and 'loss'. There are also some issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'concerned reason' (instead of 'significant cause') and 'responsible on the farming' (instead of 'dependent on farming'). While the meaning is generally clear, the range is limited, and there is a lack of topic-specific vocabulary related to agriculture, economics, or humanitarian aid that would demonstrate a more sophisticated command of the language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Some farmers which are living'), missing articles, and awkward sentence construction (e.g., 'the water level in the canals rise which become the main problem'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with missing spaces after commas and periods. While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence structure and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be beneficial.
