Student answer (Band 5.5)
In recent years, multiple improvements are made to have better agriculture, but still their are many individuals living by hook or crook having limited stuff to eat that keep them hungry.
There is no doubt about, that technoloy in agricultue evolved very repidly in last few decades and this has also imporved our food quality, reduced the labor effort of our farmers and we noticed a climb in our production as well.
But the question is, why people are still dying of hunger if there is an increase in food production? There can be many reosons for that but in my opinion, over growing population is the main cause of it. Basically in recent few years there is a dramatic increase in the world's population , and we do not have enough food to meet the need.
To cope with this problem, I believe, spreading awareness on this topic can be the best solution. To do so, Government as well as private institutes should run compaigns and organize awareness seminars to teach our laymen about the importance of population control and guide them about the use of protection while having sex.
Another reason of still having hunger among poor people is the middle men involved in agriculture businesses. For instance, a farmer produces mangoes and he sales them for 100 PKR to the middle man, which will sale at very high price of his own choice, as there is no check and balance by Government.
Government can tackle this problem by facilitating the formars with good transport and providing them reach upto the market so that they can sale the stuff by their own, at low prices.
In conclusion, I wolud say, having hunger among poor people is an urgent issue, but resolvable as well and we can reduce this by adressing above mentioned problems in best way possible.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for hunger and potential solutions. The ideas, such as population growth and the role of middlemen, are relevant. However, the development is somewhat superficial. For instance, the suggestion regarding population control is presented briefly without exploring the complexity of the issue. The position is clear, but the arguments could be extended with more depth or specific examples to reach a higher band. The response covers all parts of the task well enough to meet the requirements for a Band 6.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the progression of ideas. There is a logical flow from the problem to the solutions. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate, such as 'In conclusion, I wolud say'. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the transition between the discussion of population and the role of middlemen is abrupt. While the overall arrangement is coherent, the lack of sophisticated linking words and occasional awkward phrasing limits the score to a Band 6.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several spelling errors, such as 'technoloy', 'repidly', 'imporved', 'reosons', 'compaign', 'formars', and 'wolud'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. The student uses some informal or idiomatic expressions like 'by hook or crook' and 'laymen', which are not always appropriate for an academic essay. While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range and persistent spelling issues prevent a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'still their are many' (instead of 'there are'), 'multiple improvements are made' (should be 'have been made'), and 'he sales them' (should be 'sells'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent and demonstrate a lack of control over complex structures, which is characteristic of a Band 5.5 performance.
