Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying causes (fertilizers, lack of distribution) and solutions (organic pesticides, government awareness). However, the development of these ideas is limited and often unclear. For example, the claim that fertilizers destroy the 'ratio of crops' is vague and lacks logical explanation. The solutions provided are also somewhat simplistic and lack depth. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments are underdeveloped, which prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. To improve, you should provide more specific examples and explain the causal links between your points more thoroughly.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or incorrect, such as 'in venom of' (likely meant 'in spite of') and 'in this continouse era'. The progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed, particularly within the body paragraphs where sentences do not always flow logically from one to the next. Referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between the problem and the solution is abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help create a smoother, more logical flow.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary range is limited and frequently inaccurate. There are several instances of incorrect word choice and non-standard collocations, such as 'in venom of' instead of 'in spite of', 'agri-business' used incorrectly, and 'sort out this issue' which is slightly informal. Phrases like 'in this fast phase era' and 'provide to others' are awkward and impede clarity. While the meaning is generally understandable, the lack of precision and the presence of errors in basic vocabulary usage limit the score. You should focus on learning common collocations and using more precise academic terminology.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay relies on a limited range of sentence structures, and there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'soil become infertile'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'they are still go hungry'), and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'due to that they are still go hungry'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas. While the errors do not completely prevent communication, they are frequent enough to cause difficulty for the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like verb tense and subject-verb agreement.
