Student answer (Band 5.5)
There is a growing debate about the fact that despise some advances in agriculture, society might be facing food shortages around the world in the near future. I strongly believe that the rapid acceleration in climate changes are significantly impacting our society. The incorporation of effective environmental policies and the rise of awareness about climate changes might help to effectively managed food production processes.
On one hand, authorities around the globe should be implementing effective environmental policies in order to reduce worldwide contamination and avoid major cathastrophes. Goverments must allocated financial support to generate primary policies, allowing them to effectively managed the rapid widespread of global warming. For instance, several worldwide countries have allocated emergency funding to research about the importance of modern agriculture processes using just limited sources of potable water. As a consequence, farm lands were this has been implemented are substancilally reducing their water usage, which has significantly help to effectively managed their resources.
On the othe other hand, raise awareness about about climate change around the world is an essential step for modern society. Creating informative spaces about this trend not only might help to reduce the levels of contamination, but also may significantly encourage to younger generationsto use sustainable ways. For example, modern eco-friendly companies have stablish a rewarding system when people buy from their stores, requiring them to bullet point information about climate change. Consequently, this has helped to raise awareness amoung costumers encouraging to obtain rapid desintegration products.
To sum up, I strongly believe that with the incorporation of environmental policies and the stablishment of informative spaces around the globe, future generations may effectively managed climate change and its consecuences to find new ways of food production.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, exploring the causes of world hunger such as climate change and proposing solutions including environmental policies and educational initiatives. A clear position is maintained throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and contains minor sweeping generalisations. For example, while the student mentions that several countries have allocated emergency funding for modern agriculture, the explanation remains slightly superficial. Ideas are generally relevant, but they could be extended further with more robust supporting examples to reach a higher band. Overall, the requirements of the task are appropriately covered.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and conclusion. Paragraphing is utilised sufficiently to separate distinct points, such as separating governmental policies from educational awareness. However, cohesive devices are occasionally faulty or mechanical. For instance, the transition 'On the othe other hand' contains a typo, and referencing is sometimes imprecise, such as ambiguous pronoun use ('allowing them to effectively managed'). Logical progression is present, but the clumsy handling of cohesive links pulls the score down to this level.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The student attempts a range of vocabulary suitable for the task, including terms like 'acceleration', 'environmental policies', and 'eco-friendly companies'. However, there are frequent word choice errors, morphological issues, and misspellings throughout the text. Examples include 'despise' instead of 'despite', 'cathastrophes' instead of 'catastrophes', 'Goverments' instead of 'Governments', 'allocated' instead of 'allocate', 'managed' instead of 'manage', 'substancilally' instead of 'substantially', and 'amoung' instead of 'among'. These lexical slips and awkward collocations ('rapid desintegration products') indicate limited control over less common vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, demonstrating some variety in structure. However, grammatical accuracy is weak, with frequent errors occurring in almost every sentence. Notable errors include subject-verb agreement ('the rapid acceleration in climate changes are', where 'changes' is incorrectly treated as the head noun triggering a plural verb), infinitive/gerund confusion ('encouraging to younger generationsto use' and 'encouraging to obtain'), and tense/form errors ('might help to effectively managed'). Punctuation and basic word forms require considerable attention, though meaning is generally not completely obscured.
