IELTS Writing Task 2 question

In spite of the advances made in agriculture, many people around the world still go hungry.

Why is this the case?

What can be done about this problem?

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Nowadays , agriculture has developed more because of modern technology and good farming method.therefore, many people arround the world still suffer for hunger.ther are several reason for this problem, and some solutions can be reduce this problem.

One main resons is poverty.Many people do not buy because they do not have enough money to buy food, And also buying food is more costly.political problem and war also one of the main reason, because of war the farm lands can destroys and people can not growing food.natural disaster such as floods and havy rains also damage crops.In addition, sometimes food wasted in large amount , while some people do not have enough food to eat.

There are several solution pf this problem. First, government should provide food support to poor pweople.they should also financially help farmers to buying modern equipment for batter farming and support while farmers suffering from natural disaster , people ane restaurants should try to reduce food waste and they can also donate extra food to poor people.

In conclusion, hunger is serious pronlem because of povert , war , natural disaster and food waste. government ,organization and people work together to make sure that everyone has enough food.
