In the modern world majority of people still go hungry even after the advancements made in agriculture.Agriculture has made significant progress in recent decades. However, hunger and food insecurity remain serious problem numerious countries

Initally, I would discuss the cause which leads to hunger and food insecurtiy. There are number of reasons behind this, but the utmost reason is inflation as inflation has become a serious issue in many countries. So, duo to inflation poor public were unable to buy basic grocery even nowadays the cost of vegitables and pulses are so high. Moreover, duo to poverty public can't capable of buying even things are available in market.

This problem can be solved by equal distribution, reduce poverty, and by supporting farmers. Moreover, goverment should release funds scheme for poor people this would help them finnancially, and could be a better solution.

Furthermore, this problem can be solved by reducing infaltion, and texes on crops, fertilizers and other farming equipment. In addition, Government should provide agriculture education to youth by constructing universities, and aware the public about the hunger problems.

To oversome this problem government sould improve food distribution. She should improve transportation system so that food can reach areas where people are suffering from food shortages.

In conclusion, despite significant advances in agriculture, hunger still remains a serious problem. However, this problem can be addressed by improving food distribution, by making reliable polices for farmer, by reducing inflation, by keep check and balance on utility stores, and by providing greater support to farmers or people which are linked with agriculture.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: why people still go hungry despite agricultural advances (inflation, poverty), and what can be done about it (equal distribution, supporting farmers, reducing taxes, government education, and infrastructure). A position is presented throughout the essay. However, the development of ideas tends to be somewhat superficial and repetitive, particularly in the body paragraphs. Phrases like 'duo to inflation poor public were unable to buy basic grocery' lack deep elaboration and detailed supporting examples from real-world contexts. Furthermore, some arguments overlap. This places the performance solidly at Band 5.5, as it meets the basic requirements of addressing all parts of the task, but the ideas remain limited and insufficiently extended across the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay displays some overall organization with an introduction, multiple body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, progression is frequently hindered by structural and mechanical issues. Paragraphing is attempted, but some paragraphs are disjointed or overly brief. Cohesive devices such as 'Initally', 'Moreover', and 'Furthermore' are used, but they are often formulaic or mechanically applied, and punctuation errors around them (e.g., missing spaces after commas and periods) disrupt the flow. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as 'She should improve transportation system' where 'She' lacks a clear antecedent. Overall, the logical progression is interrupted by frequent shifts and surface-level cohesion, making a Band 5.0 the most appropriate descriptor.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The student uses a limited but minimally adequate range of vocabulary for the task, touching on relevant terms such as 'agriculture', 'food insecurity', 'inflation', and 'distribution'. However, there are numerous spelling errors and incorrect word forms throughout the text, including 'numerious', 'Initally', 'insecurtiy', 'duo' (instead of due), 'vegitables', 'goverment', 'finnancially', 'texes', 'aware' (used as a verb instead of raise awareness), 'oversome', and 'polices'. These lexical errors and awkward collocations (e.g., 'release funds scheme') cause noticeable difficulty for the reader and prevent the score from reaching Band 6.0, aligning it instead with Band 5.0.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The response demonstrates a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence forms, but grammatical accuracy is consistently weak. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'poor public were', 'things are available', 'government sould improve'), article usage (e.g., 'in modern world', 'transportation system'), and prepositional phrases. Punctuation is poorly controlled, with numerous missing spaces after punctuation marks and run-on structures. Complex structures frequently contain errors that cause difficulty for the reader. Although meaning can generally be inferred, the high density of basic and complex grammatical errors places this response at a Band 5.0.
