Student answer (Band 5.5)
The question of food shortage throughout the world is highly debatable. Although the technology has been developed and modernized machines has been introduced for agriculture system but still there are food crises in developing countries. I will discuss the reasons behind this and will give the suggestion for this.
Nevertheless,Our agriculture industry is advance but still there is food scarcity in different countries all around the world. In my opinion the first amd foremost reason behind this is miss management of local production, the large producer of crops export their products to foreign countries amd earn the high amounts. The underprivileged class can not afford it in high rates. Thatswhy they fall for scarcity. The other primary reason behind this is the government doesn't provide enough subsides and access to advance machines to make magnificent yield. This is the reason the people are preferring office work over farming. Parents uses to teach their children to focus on studies. They don't want their children to work for farming.
The resolutions for these problems is providing enough funds and modern technologies to farmers. Government should impose ban on export of those products which are already short in their own countries. There should be ban on selling of fertilized land. Counselling sessions and seminars should be conducted for awareness on agriculture education and modern farming techniques. The rates for basic food accessories should be reduce.
At the end, State should make positive policies for farmers amd low income citizens inoder to make it affordable to all people.Parents amd teachers should education students on the benefits of local production.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing reasons why people still go hungry despite agricultural advances and offering solutions. However, the ideas are somewhat limited and under-developed, reflecting a partial treatment of the task. For instance, the argument regarding the mismanagement of local production and high exports is introduced but lacks extension with concrete examples. Similarly, the points about government subsidies and the shift away from farming are stated briefly without sufficient expansion. To move to a higher band, the writer needs to fully develop each main idea with clear explanations, logical extensions, and relevant supporting examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
There is a clear attempt at organisation with identifiable introduction, body, and conclusion paragraphs, showing some overall structure. However, there is a lack of clear overall progression between sentences and paragraphs, and cohesive devices are frequently repetitive, inadequate, or inaccurate, such as starting consecutive sentences with 'The other primary reason' or abrupt transitions like 'Nevertheless,' and 'At the end,'. Referencing is also occasionally unclear. To improve, the writer should use a wider variety of cohesive ties more naturally and ensure that sentences flow smoothly from one point to the next to build a stronger logical thread throughout the essay.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate to convey the basic message. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary items, such as 'underprivileged class' and 'magnificent yield,' but these are often accompanied by noticeable errors in word choice, collocation, and word form, such as 'miss management,' 'high amounts,' and 'basic food accessories.' Additionally, spelling mistakes like 'Thatswhy' and 'inoder' occur. To achieve a higher band, the writer must expand their lexical range and exercise greater precision in word selection and collocation, ensuring that terms are used naturally and accurately in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The writer demonstrates a limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences alongside attempts at complex forms that are frequently faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with article use, subject-verb agreement, and prepositions within grammatical patterns, such as 'modernized machines has been introduced,' 'afford it in high rates,' and 'education students.' Punctuation errors are also apparent. These frequent errors can cause some difficulty and strain for the reader. To progress, the writer needs to increase grammatical control, use a wider variety of complex sentence structures accurately, and minimize basic morphological and syntactical errors.
