Student answer (Band 5.5)
Across many Asian countries like Pakistan, India, Bangladesh the agriculture has increased over time which still makes things hard for some people to afford food and endup being hungry.
Many people in the world still suffer from hunger and that is due to the food which is being expensive and hard to afford. Asian countries go thorugh this frequantly as the affordibility level for people has been decreased along with the job rate overtime which make things hard for individuals who can not afford. In Pakistan, for example, the job rate is already on low and people who already have it is with the less salary package in which they can not afford to fullfil all the needs and endup being hungry.
In solution, however, the fiscal relief can be the huge impact on people not going hungry as most of the salaries are utilized in bills, taxes and other government expenses. The government need to take the accountibility for families who can not afford much and provide them with some kind relief from fiscal, help them with financial needs or provide them jobs with better salary packages. For example, government indulging needy people at some places for job where their hunger is not being compromised due to house expenses and would help them decrease the rate of people still going on hunger even after this advance agriculture.
In conclusion, whereas, people are more likely to face hunger problems due to lack of affordibility, government can still make the situation easy and help individual who are suffering from this issue.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt by discussing reasons for hunger, such as the high cost of food and low salaries, and proposing solutions like government fiscal relief and job creation. However, the development of these ideas is limited and somewhat repetitive. For example, the explanation regarding low salaries in Pakistan is generalized without deeper economic context, and the proposed solutions lack specific elaboration beyond broad statements about financial help. While a clear stance is presented, the ideas remain under-developed, preventing the response from reaching a higher level of task fulfillment.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay displays a coherent overall arrangement with a clear division into introduction, body paragraphs for causes and solutions, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate distinct ideas. However, cohesion at the sentence level is occasionally mechanical or faulty, such as the transition 'In solution, however,' which feels unnatural. Referencing is also sometimes unclear, as seen in phrases like 'people who already have it is with the less salary package,' where the connection of pronouns and reference items creates some confusion in logical flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The vocabulary used is limited and barely adequate for the task. The writer attempts some less common vocabulary, such as 'fiscal relief' and 'accountibility,' but struggles with precise word choice, collocation, and word formation. Frequent errors include awkward phrasing such as 'affordibility level for people has been decreased,' 'job rate is already on low,' and spelling slips like 'frequantly,' 'affordibility,' and 'endup.' While these errors do not entirely impede communication, they highlight a restricted range and noticeable strain in lexical control.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The text demonstrates a very limited range of structures, relying mostly on simple sentences joined by coordinating conjunctions or faulty complex constructions. There are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation throughout the response, including issues with subject-verb agreement ('people who already have it is with the less salary package'), article omission ('the agriculture', 'the job rate'), and prepositional use. Attempts at complex sentences often result in ungrammatical clauses, such as 'where their hunger is not being compromised due to house expenses,' which can cause some difficulty and strain for the reader.
