Student answer (Band 5.0)
Man through the ages has developed many things to improve their life. Technology is increasing day by day. In this era, many things have created that makes of daily works simple and easy. Although many advances made in agriculture, many people are still facing hungar.
By the use technology, agriculture can be done very easily as compared to the past. But people around the world still go hungry. From my prespective, the main reason behind this is government. Due to lack of job opportunities, people often face poverty. There is no doubt that pakistan is an agricultural country and it grows a lot of agriculture. But the still there is a lack of job opportunities.
I think government should focus to create job opportunities adn encourage people to start a business because more factories mean more job opportunities. Furthermore, government focus to increase export rather than import. As there are few factories, we have to use products from other countries. We should focus on creating products instead of buying products. A single agriculture is not enough in the development of our country.
Second thing that can be done to solve this problem is educating youth or children about benefits of business. Children should not completely rely on jobs. Some of them must focus creating jobs by making a system or business. government can encourage students to make opportunities for other and tell the benefits of own business.
In conclusion, normally students are being motivated to do job even there is lack of jobs in market. Its time to change our thoughts and focus on other source of development or income.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions by identifying poverty and limited employment as reasons for hunger, then proposing job creation, business development and education. The reference to Pakistan gives the response a relevant context. However, the explanation of why agricultural advances have not prevented hunger remains limited: the claim that the government is the “main reason” is not supported with a clear account of how food fails to reach people or why poverty prevents access to it. The proposed solutions also focus mainly on employment and exports, with little explanation of how these measures would reduce hunger specifically. Develop the cause-and-effect links and support each main idea with a concrete example to make the response more complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, two paragraphs of solutions and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of your answer. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the discussion moves from poverty and job opportunities to Pakistan’s agricultural production without explaining the connection between them. Linking phrases such as “Furthermore” and “Second thing” signal additions, but some connections feel mechanical, and “But the still there is a lack of job opportunities” interrupts the flow. Use topic sentences that state each paragraph’s central point, then explain and illustrate it before moving to the next idea.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “agriculture,” “poverty,” “job opportunities,” “export” and “development.” These terms make your main concerns understandable. However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “job opportunities,” “focus” and “products.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “hungar,” “prespective,” “adn” and “a single agriculture,” which can make the intended meaning less clear. Some combinations are unnatural, including “create job opportunities” and “focus creating jobs.” Build a wider set of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations; this will help you express the relationship between food access, income and employment more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a contrast with “Although” and a reason introduced by “Due to.” However, grammatical errors are frequent, and some sentences are difficult to interpret. Examples include “many things have created that makes of daily works simple,” where the verb forms and clause structure are faulty, and “Although many advances made in agriculture,” which lacks an auxiliary verb. Agreement and sentence construction also need attention in “government focus to increase export” and “Some of them must focus creating jobs.” Practise forming complete clauses, using correct subject–verb agreement and verb patterns, and checking articles and plurals. More accurate basic sentences will make your ideas clearer before you attempt longer structures.
