Student answer (Band 5.5)

With the developmemt in the field of technology, growth in the agriculture sector is increasing day by day. Agriculture is consider as a significant source of individuals income. In the recent era peoples around the word are still facing shortage of food.

There are multiple reasons of hunger. From my prespective i am strongly support the agrument that despite the advancement in agriulture sector many peoples deal with lack of food.i will discuss the problems as well as their solutions.

The main reason regarding hunger is overpopulation.when the price of goods are increase untimately the supply become short,in result it cause inflation.Another reason is poverty. In the underdevelop countries peoples are suffering to fullfill their basic needs they are supressed with rising prices of commodities, moreover they have to borrow money from their landlord untimately they become debtor.Third reason is high interest rates of government schemes for example if i am talking about pakistan every year government announces loan scheme for needy farmers on high intersest rates individuals have to borrow amount in complusion to meet their neends. when the time of return is arrives they have to paid greater amount than their earning ultimately they become borrower.

Talking about their solutions, authorties must a strick actions regarding prices control.with many unique methods hunger will be minimize such as interest free loans, without any hidden charges government should facilitate citizens with solar panels, with the assistance of solar energy electricity bills will be diminish.

To sumup the whole debate.I am entirely support the argument that agriculture should be promoted as it is a medium of finace for every person in the world.poor individuals must be regarded with secondary facilities as they their lives will become easier and peaceful.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions by identifying possible causes—overpopulation, poverty and farmers’ borrowing costs—and proposing government action on prices and financial support. The Pakistan loan-scheme example gives one point some context. However, the response only partially develops the task: the link between population growth and food shortages is asserted rather than explained, and the discussion of high-interest loans shifts toward farmers’ debt without showing clearly how this leads to hunger among the wider population. The proposed solar panels and interest-free loans also need a clearer connection to food access. Your position is present, but the conclusion’s claim that agriculture should be promoted does not fully summarise the causes and solutions discussed. Explain each cause-and-solution link more directly and support it with a relevant example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. Signposting such as “There are multiple reasons” and “Talking about their solutions” helps readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to track. The causes paragraph moves from population and prices to poverty, then to farmers’ loans, with repeated “ultimately” links that do not always make the reasoning clear. Several ideas are joined in long strings, particularly the discussion of government loans and solar panels. Use separate sentences for distinct points, and make each paragraph develop one clear line of reasoning. More precise referencing would also help clarify who “they” refers to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “overpopulation,” “inflation,” “interest rates,” “commodities” and “solar energy,” which gives the response some relevant range. However, the usable vocabulary is limited by frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choice or collocation, sometimes making meaning harder to understand. Examples include “individuals income,” “shortage of food,” “in complusion” and “secondary facilities”; the last phrase does not clearly express the intended support for poor people. Several words are also repeated, such as “ultimately” and “individuals.” Check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships for this topic, such as “food insecurity,” “affordable food” and “financial assistance.” Choose precise terms rather than relying on general phrases.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including conditional and cause-and-effect structures, as in “when the time of return is arrives…” and “when the price of goods are increase…”. However, these attempts are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles and sentence boundaries can make the reader work to understand your meaning. For example, “Agriculture is consider” needs a passive participle, while “the supply become short” has an agreement and verb-form problem. The final sentence, “as they their lives will become easier,” is also structurally unclear. Practise building accurate basic sentences first, then add subordinate clauses. Pay particular attention to subject–verb agreement and separating complete sentences with appropriate punctuation.
