Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both questions: you identify population growth and shortages of water and seeds as reasons for hunger, then suggest providing farmers with resources and equipment. These points are relevant, but the explanation remains limited and some claims are unclear. For example, the link between population growth and food shortages is asserted rather than explained, and the proposed support from “Responsible Persons” is not specified. The final sentence repeats the idea of supplying seeds and products without adding a distinct solution. To strengthen the response, explain how each cause contributes to hunger and develop practical measures—for instance, improving irrigation, storage, or food distribution—with a relevant example. A clearer, consistent position would also help the reader follow your answer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is some basic organisation: the opening discusses causes, and later paragraphs turn to possible solutions. However, progression is difficult to follow because several ideas are packed into long, loosely connected sentences, and the final paragraph ends abruptly. Connectors such as “so,” “also,” and “because” are repeated or used where the relationship between ideas is not clear. The phrase “Yeah thats great if i talk about about how this probelm can be resolve” also interrupts the formal flow rather than introducing the solution section clearly. Use separate paragraphs for causes and solutions, give each paragraph one main point, and link sentences with precise transitions such as “One reason is…” and “To address this…”.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
Your response includes relevant topic vocabulary, including “resources,” “seeds,” “crops,” “farmers,” and “tractors,” so the reader can identify the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “resources are being short,” “harvited the good crops,” and “high Quality crops in good Quantity.” Spelling and word-form errors such as “prob el m,” “enviroments,” and “Prouducts” also reduce clarity. Aim for accurate, natural phrases rather than repeating general words such as “good” and “enough.” Learning topic collocations for food production and distribution will help you express your ideas more precisely.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, but control is limited, and frequent errors can make the reader work to understand the message. For example, “many people… still remain hungry because the lack of food” needs a clearer clause structure, while “farmers cant… so food is not coming” combines several ideas without reliable sentence boundaries. There are also problems with articles, agreement, verb forms, and punctuation, as in “Water is biggest” and “how this problem can be resolve.” Most sentences rely on basic patterns, and attempts at more complex structures are often faulty. Practise writing shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas using accurate clauses and check verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
