Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you identify financial hardship and unequal access as reasons for hunger, then call for government and charity initiatives. The contrast between lower-income families struggling to afford meals and wealthier people spending on luxury is relevant. However, the explanation of why hunger persists despite increased agricultural production is only partly developed: you state that crops are produced in abundance, but do not clearly explain barriers such as distribution, conflict, food waste, or affordability. The proposed response is also general; “make some initiatives” does not specify what action would improve access. Develop the causes and connect each solution directly to them, using a concrete example to support your points.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate discussion of agricultural production and hunger, a solutions paragraph, and a conclusion. This gives the reader an overall route through the answer. Some progression is less clear within paragraphs, however: the second paragraph moves from technology to crop production and then to people enjoying meals without explaining how these points relate to persistent hunger. Linking phrases such as “On other hand” and “In contrast” help signal relationships, but transitions are sometimes mechanical or unclear, and references such as “all this circumstances” are difficult to follow. Organise each paragraph around one main point and use clearer links between cause, evidence, and consequence.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “financial crisis,” “excessive expenditure,” “deprived,” and “basic needs,” and the reader can generally understand your main ideas. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “proper,” “problem,” and “people,” while several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear. For example, “our agriculture sector has prospected” does not express the intended idea, and “stay happy like others” is imprecise in this context. Spelling and word forms such as “govermant,” “eridicate,” and “lacking” also reduce accuracy. Build a more precise vocabulary for food access and policy, and check collocations and spelling before submitting.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You use both simple statements and some longer structures, including the contrast introduced by “because of” and the clause beginning “who lives in a poor community.” This shows an attempt to vary sentence forms. However, control is inconsistent, and errors in agreement, articles, verb forms, and sentence construction sometimes make the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “our universe are developing,” “one of the section,” and “this problem never be solved.” Several sentences also join ideas without clear grammatical boundaries, as in the opening paragraph. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and complete clause structures, then use complex sentences selectively. Careful punctuation and proofreading would also make your meaning easier to follow.
