Despite the technology made in agriculture, alot of people around the world still in starvation. The essay will entails the reason i nthis case, solution to the problems while sighting examples.

Firstly, in this present times people around the world are still living in starvation ue to the increase in agricultural produce. For instance, i remebered when my Dad used some of his hactares of land in the plantation of yams which is an annual crop, his interest in agriculture in my village was to own a plantation where yam produce will be cheap and easily accessed my the villagers and neigbouring villages while creasing jobs for the community, i remeberd he contacted an experienced farmer whom after enlisting in details the technology, staffing, fertilizers, pesticides, and all needed to own a flourishing yam farm business, while being a profit oriented business was huge and capital intentive which as a result, my Dad had no choice but to sell close to the amount one can get this produce from other villages, which as a result, not every one could still afford it.

Secondly, the challenges surrounding starvation of hunger around can be savage through awarenesses and government intervention. For example, when government intervens on agricultural technological awareness, reduced in equipment and fertilizers, empowering farmers ecertera. As such, the burden farmers are experiencing will be reduced, when this menace of high cost of agricultural productions are addressed, commodities prices will be lowered, individuals will be able to make purchase while starvation will be reduced, if not eradicated.

In conclusion, advance in agriculture has exposed many farmers to new and great knowldge on different ways of farming, there are still capital intentive on farmers leading to high price in production and the probems can be addressed through awareness and governement interventions on areas in order to maintain snooth production by farmers and cheaper farm produce to the public, thereby, reducing starvation in the world.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: the personal example about your father’s yam farm illustrates how high start-up costs can keep food expensive, and you propose government support and agricultural awareness as responses. However, the explanation of why hunger persists is narrow: the essay mainly links it to production costs and affordability, without exploring other relevant causes such as unequal distribution, poverty, conflict, or food waste. The proposed solutions are also stated broadly; for example, explain what specific support governments could provide and how it would reach people who cannot afford food. Your position is understandable, but some ideas remain under-developed, so the response only partially fulfils the task in its current form.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, two body paragraphs signalled by “Firstly” and “Secondly,” and a conclusion. The farm anecdote is placed in the paragraph about causes, while government action appears in the solutions paragraph, which gives the reader a basic route through the answer. However, progression within sentences is often difficult to follow, especially in the long first body paragraph, where several details about the farm, costs, and prices are joined together. Linking phrases such as “which as a result” are repeated, and the relationship between increased agricultural production and continued hunger is not made clear. Use shorter sentences and make each paragraph’s main point explicit before adding explanation and an example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “agricultural produce,” “fertilizers,” “pesticides,” “capital intensive,” and “government intervention.” These choices show an effort to discuss farming costs and possible remedies. However, frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word choices sometimes make the meaning harder to understand: “savage” appears where “addressed” or “tackled” is intended, and “awarenesses” is not the appropriate form in this context. There are also awkward collocations, such as “starvation of hunger” and “technology made in agriculture.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations such as “advances in agricultural technology,” “food insecurity,” and “the cost of production.” Proofreading spelling would also improve clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional idea in “when this menace … are addressed, commodities prices will be lowered.” However, complex sentences are often faulty or incomplete, and frequent errors can make the reader work to identify the intended meaning. For example, “The essay will entails” combines incompatible verb forms, while “people … still living in starvation” lacks the auxiliary verb “are.” In the long farm example, clauses are joined without clear grammatical control, and subject–verb agreement is inconsistent, as in “the burden farmers are experiencing will be reduced” following “the challenges … can be savage.” Practise accurate verb forms, agreement, and sentence boundaries, then divide long sentences into clearer units.
