Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is true that after advance made in agriculture with the help of technologymany people around the world are still hungry.

On one side, technology made agriculture very easy. We can used the technology and produced many food .Like now farmer used internet and get information about the wether .There are many compines who tell them what to grow and what not to grow and also who to get revenu from land. With lesear light they stright the land which become very helpful in feild production. Now there are new advance tractors that make the farmr work more easy. There are diffrent chmeicals that are very benifical from them and produced a large amout of feild. For example every year argriculurist spary there mango tres so it become health and produced more mangos so he get lot of revenu .

on the other hand , there are many agriculture land where we get food like vegitable fruits etc.But the main problem is the distribution system cost.Like if we pick food from farmer we deliver to diffrent location .This factor get cost like petrol cost profit cost .Also infulation is also a reason .There are many people who livwe under the poverty line so it become more difficult for them to to buy these food.

In conclusion ,it is true that due to technology agriculture sector has grown significantly but due to infilation petrol price it become impossible for some people to get adavnatgae from this .There should be aproper system so we can deliver food for person who need most .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions by identifying affordability and distribution costs as reasons for hunger, and you suggest improving delivery to people who need food. These are relevant points, and the example about mango production helps illustrate how agricultural technology can increase output. However, the response spends much more space describing advances in farming than explaining why people remain hungry or developing practical solutions. The causes of poverty and food-distribution problems are mentioned briefly, while the proposed “proper system” is not explained. To strengthen the response, make the link between increased production and unequal access explicit, then develop specific measures such as reducing transport losses, improving food storage, or providing targeted support to low-income households.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, two body sections signalled by “On one side” and “on the other hand,” and a conclusion. This helps readers recognise the shift from agricultural advances to barriers to access. However, the first body paragraph contains many details about technology in a sequence that is difficult to follow, and the connection between these details and the question is not always clear. Linking phrases such as “Like” are repeated and sometimes introduce examples without a clear relationship to the main point. The conclusion also repeats earlier ideas rather than drawing them together. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, use more precise transitions, and make references such as “this factor” clearly identify the idea being discussed.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “agriculture,” “distribution system,” “poverty line,” and “production,” which allows you to communicate the main subject. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, spelling, and collocation errors make parts difficult to understand, such as “lesear light,” “feild production,” and “get revenu from land.” Repetition of general words such as “food,” “cost,” and “many” also limits precision. Aim to learn accurate phrases for this topic, including “food supply chain,” “transport costs,” and “access to affordable food.” Proofreading spelling and choosing natural combinations of words will make your ideas clearer and more appropriate for an academic essay.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the example beginning “For example every year…” shows an effort to explain a process. However, grammatical errors are frequent and sometimes make the intended meaning difficult to follow. Verb forms are often inaccurate, as in “We can used” and “farmer used,” while sentence structure and agreement are weak in phrases such as “it become more difficult for them to to buy.” Articles, plurals, and punctuation are also inconsistently controlled, and several sentences run together without clear boundaries. Practise forming accurate present-tense statements and checking subject–verb agreement, then use full stops to separate ideas. Building reliable simple sentences before adding complex clauses will improve clarity.
