Student answer (Band 4.5)

This issur has been discuss widly in recent yers, In my opinion that in this case many people faceing hungry,In spite of the advances made in agriculture but still the world had ha hungry many reason is that jobless people govrment has not gives more job that's why prople can not eran money and takecare of oue families.

In my opinion officials should gives citizen job and government should invint some big company to work in their country so improved jobs in their country for prople has starting eran from it, example country have population 2 million so one million covered by private company and other had some of people get loan feom government to do small bussinss and other small number of people do governmentjobs. Mein thing government should do release from texs for temporary time. In my knowledge it will be covered by much of number by this idea, and my experience i was also do small bussiness in past so bussiness has very good way to out from lower life style and bussiness give prople mind set and same do for family as well in small bussiness had a atleast five people to do work and slowly slowly hungry will gone out of country and it will be stant own their peoples this is many reasons all our world have hungry so i try to discuss in the case and i hope it will be helps people in future last but not least we have to see same successful country and try to copy of them.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions: you identify unemployment and low incomes as reasons for hunger, then suggest job creation, private investment, small-business loans and temporary tax relief. Your personal experience with a small business is relevant support. However, the explanation of why agricultural advances have not prevented hunger remains limited; the response focuses mainly on employment and does not explain issues such as unequal food access or distribution. Several proposals are asserted rather than clearly explained—for example, the population and company figures do not show how many people would actually gain reliable access to food. The position is present but not consistently clear. Develop fewer ideas with a clearer cause-and-effect explanation and a specific example for each part of the task.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

There is a basic overall shape: the opening introduces the issue, and the main body moves from causes to possible solutions. You also attempt links such as “that's why,” “for example,” and “last but not least.” However, the response is largely one long paragraph, so the reader has difficulty distinguishing the explanation of causes from the proposed solutions. Ideas sometimes run together, especially in the section beginning “In my opinion officials should gives citizen job,” and repeated phrases such as “in my opinion” and “in my knowledge” do not create clear progression. Use separate paragraphs for causes and solutions, then organise each around one main point. Shorter sentences and clearer references would make the sequence easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “agriculture,” “government,” “private company,” “loan,” and “small business,” so the central subject can be understood. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings make meaning difficult to follow, as in “covered by private company,” “release from texs,” and “lower life style.” Errors such as “hungry” where you mean “hunger” also show difficulty selecting the correct form of a word. Repetition of “people,” “government,” and “small business” further limits precision. Build a topic vocabulary set around food insecurity, employment, income and access to food, and check spelling and collocations when revising.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas in longer sentences, for example with “so,” “because,” and “and,” but these structures are often faulty and make relationships between ideas unclear. There are frequent problems with verb forms and agreement, such as “government has not gives,” “officials should gives,” and “I was also do.” Articles and sentence boundaries are also difficult to control; the opening runs several clauses together without clear punctuation. Most sentences need substantial editing before their meaning is easy to follow. Practise accurate simple sentence patterns first, then combine related ideas using one controlled subordinate clause. Check subject–verb agreement, verb forms after modal verbs, and full stops between complete ideas.
