Student answer (Band 5.0)

However, there is advancement in field of agriculture, so many people around the world left hungry. So many reasons are responsible for that.

The main reason behind that is weather. Nowadays because of the pollution temperature is increasing day by day. The weather is unprectitable.Though there are so many developments have done to cop this problems but still there is some limitation to illustrate people can not stop the rain.So sometime weather is the main problem that farmers can not grow enough to feed every person and the price of the vagetables and fruits is increasing continuously.Poor people can not afford to buy food from outside and left hungry. For example recently one research has done in Gujarat India that stated that Gujarat is now becoming more warm and and getting less cold and wheat grow in winter in cold so because of less cold farmers have low production of wheat.

The another problem is mismanagement.Government is giving free food to poor people but some rich people are taking that advantage in stead of poor people. And because of that poor people are not getting fo

To solve that kind of problem authorities should take some steps.Government should fix the rate for the produce. So that each and every person can afford at least basic things.Government can also provide basic living things for free to poor people. In africa Government is issuing a card for poor people based on their income and on that card people are getting basic food for free.

despite having advancement in agriculture , some poor people left hungry. There are some factors responsible for that like climate change and not having proper management. Government can solve these problems by taking some steps like announcing some schemes for poor people.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions by identifying weather-related crop losses and the unfair distribution of food, then suggesting government support and price controls. The Gujarat example also helps make the climate point more concrete. However, the response only partially develops these ideas: the explanation of how pollution affects harvests is broad, and the proposed measures are not clearly linked to each cause. The second cause is introduced as “mismanagement,” but its explanation is cut off, leaving the reader unsure how food aid is diverted or how this could be prevented. The conclusion repeats the main points rather than adding a clear, fully developed answer. Explain each cause and show specifically how your solutions would address it.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the response moves from causes to solutions and ends with a summary, and paragraph breaks indicate these sections. However, progression is not consistently clear. The paragraph beginning “The another problem is mismanagement” ends abruptly at “not getting fo,” so the idea is incomplete and the transition to solutions feels sudden. Linking phrases such as “So many reasons” and “To solve that kind of problem” are repetitive or imprecise, while “despite having advancement” in the conclusion does not connect smoothly to the preceding discussion. Develop each paragraph around one complete point, use clear references to earlier ideas, and ensure transitions show whether you are adding a cause, giving an example, or proposing a response.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “pollution,” “unpredictable,” “production,” “mismanagement,” and “income,” which helps communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning harder to follow. Examples include “there is advancement in field of agriculture,” “cop this problems,” “the price of the vagetables,” and “basic living things.” Spelling errors such as “unprectitable” and “vagetables” also reduce accuracy. Aim for precise phrases commonly used in this topic, such as “agricultural advances,” “cope with these problems,” “food prices,” and “essential food supplies.” Check spelling and choose words that express the intended meaning directly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including a cause-and-effect explanation beginning “because of the pollution,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. For example, “there are so many developments have done” combines incompatible verb forms; “farmers can not grow enough to feed every person” needs more accurate sentence construction; and “one research has done” has an incorrect verb pattern. Articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent, as in “The another problem” and “Poor people can not afford … and left hungry.” Several sentences run together without appropriate punctuation. Practise building accurate clauses first, then connect them with conjunctions, and check verb forms, articles, and punctuation during revision.
